Located in the Vaitape shopping center in downtown Vaitape, (directly across from Bora Bora's famous Eglise Evangelique Temple), Restaurant Aloe Cafe (formerly known as L' Appetisserie) has the distinction of being the the prime location on the island with both online access AND quality food and drink. We are truly something different on this island...

Here, you can sip a drink of your choice while checking your emails or surfing the net and at the same time order a delicious lunch or breakfast! (rare in French Polynesia.)

We enjoy an interesting clientelle mix of both locals and tourists alike as our local friends come in for their daily "pastry fix" or, in the case of most tourists, to check their emails or cruise the net. In our stress free and casual setting, it's always nice to see the friendly interaction here between people and most consider it a great place to make friends.

Restaurant Aloe Cafe is well known on Bora Bora for our delicious fresh pastries and home-made ice cream. Our selection of sweet foods brings a regular stream of locals from around the island every day to see whats new!

We are also popular for delicious breakfasts and lunches. Served daily (6 days a week, closed on Sundays), our tasty and traditional meals are a bargain on the island and many locals eat here daily.

Our drink selection is wonderful: Here, you can choose from freshly made coffee or espresso drinks, various teas, a local selection of fresh fruit juices, or yes, even a cold beer... Of course it's very popular to choose a drink of your choice and then go online for a little while...

Computers and the Internet:
While many Bora Bora locals are only recently discovering the power of the internet and how it can work in their lives and businesses, we have been aware of this fact for many years and now are proud to be the first on the island with regular and easy to use internet access for everyone!

We've got 4 speedy computers for accessing the internet. (McIntosh and PC's with both English or French keyboards.) We're always online and you can be checking your email or surfing the net in a matter of seconds... We also have printers, scanners, and webcams available for additional computer projects for those interested.

Our pricing per hour is fair and reflects the difficulty of getting online in French Polynesia.

10 minutes- 400 xpf, 30 minutes- 1,000 xpf, or 60 minutes for 1600 xpf (Note: prices subject to change)

Most of our customers stay online for 1/2 an hour or less, but we allow you unlimited time if need be.
